Who We Are & How This Started
In our house, quick crafts after school are just part of the rhythm. Something we've always loved doing together — nothing elaborate, nothing fancy, just a few minutes of making something, side by side.
We're a family based in Brooklyn — originally from the UK and Australia, with two American kids.
Over the Holidays, our niece came to visit. She threw herself into it completely. And when she got home, she told her mum — my sister — that she wished they could do more of that together.
My sister called me. She's a brilliant, loving, busy working mum — but creativity doesn't come naturally to her. She had no idea where to start, or even where to buy supplies. She just wanted to show up for her daughter in that way, and didn't know how.
It was our youngest daughter who had the idea.
"We should make them a pack — so they always have something ready, whenever they want to do it."
That small idea became a bigger question: how many other families feel exactly this way?
Busy and time-poor, wanting to connect but not knowing where to start?
Or spending plenty of time with their kids, but so much of it rushing, nagging, and hurrying to the next thing, and longing for a moment that actually feels more meaningful and present?
Could we build something that helped all of them — while also giving back to causes we care about?
That's how Little Magical Moments was born. A family idea, with a family purpose, built by a family.
We've loved every moment of building it together. And honestly? The whole process has been our own little magical moment.
